Bio
New York City based artist Lori Cuisinier's work
has evolved from painting into large scale photographic images influenced
by music, history, landscapes and the human form. Working from a painterly
perspective, she uses the most basic formats, from a self-made pinhole
camera to an instamatic to produce her intimate and sensual odyssey.
Lori Cuisinier's work has been shown in the United States and Europe. Her images are featured in Academy Award nominated director Mira Nairâ's "The Namesake", to be released in spring 2006. Nair also directed "Mississippi Masala," "Hysterical Blindness" and "Vanity Fair." Exhibitions
